It will help to control blue stain in timbers such as Pine, Spruce and Douglas Fir (Oregon) which are being used in areas where steam and/or high humidity may be present. Normally it is a one coat primer followed by 2 top coats of Polyx Oil. No Osmo product should be used on any timber which will receive regular quantities of water - such as the inside walls and floors of shower cubicles.
